This week. I didn't make much progress. I wasn't able to start on my production because I got busy with editing my projects to submit to the De Anza film festival.
I also didn't know how to start with the felt sheet as the felt sheet felt too soft to work with but thanks to Youtube, I learned how to stiffen felt sheet with just Elmers glue and water, but I didn't have glue, so I had to go to Michael's Today to get them.
So I started doing a test of one fiber sheet to see how it looks like.
Michael's had thesereally cool textured foam sheet that looks like it has some fiber on it almost like a rug, but sadly I cannot find a bigger roll. I hope I can find a bigger roll and cut them up. If not, I'll just use those textured foam sheets. I wanted to purchase green, brown, and some yellow tissue papers, but those are so expensive. I hope I can find that at Dollar Tree or online for cheaper.
I'm not sure if I want the roll to be split in the middle when I start taking pictures of the frames. it might be too noticeable.
I also went to Dollar tree and I found some cheap felt in a roll. I bought some other materials. I still need to buy a presentation board, but Walmart was too expensive. It was about $8 while I can go to Dollar Tree to get them for cheaper. But the Dollar Tree I went to didn't have the presentation board, so I will have to find another Dollar Tree to find it.
I try to do as much research as I can to conserve resources and money, so I need to do a lot of research so I don't waste any resources before committing to buying materials that I don't really need later.
In terms, of the character, I got the wool I need to start on the leaves.
