Week 6

This week I bought more felt sheets from Michaels and Walmart.

Walmart doesn't have felt sheet for a specific color, so I went to Michaels to find them but the one in Cupertino didn't have the felt sheets that I wanted. They only had 9" by 12" felt sheets. I went to the one in Fremont and I was able to find a 12" by 18" felt sheet, so I bought a few of them to test it out.

This week I started cutting up the felt sheets that I painted with glue, so it will stiffen the felt sheet. It made trimming/cutting it a lot easier with the exacto.

I went to Harbor's Freight to buy a set of exacto and I bought some mechanic wire for the armature for 99c. I will be going to my friends house this Sunday at Santa Cruz to build/model the characters with wool with the armature. She is going to teach me how to felt the wool. So I am pretty excited!

I will continue to buy more materials as I go. Right now I am just experimenting and trying new things to see what works and doesn't work. Stop motion is about experimentation and sometimes our plan may or may not work.
